Tasting notes : Deep and intense, this cuvée is aged in perpetual reserve (solera) which started in 1998. The wine tells the story of the family estate. Every year they bottle one third of our reserve wine (some aged in wooden barrels and some in stainless steel) to make Trio S. This volume is replaced by wine from the latest harvest. The young wine brings energy and freshness whilst the older wines bring a sens of the past. The bottling and disgorgement dates are printed on the black label.
About the winery :Established four generations ago in Cerseuil, a small village on the southern slopes of the valley, the house managed by Jérôme Dehours has diversified vintages and styles, from a very fragmented vineyard on both banks of the Marne. Its champagnes of character, mainly built around the miller, offer a balance of tasty juice while playing on the wire of a fine oxidation managed from wine making in old barrels. The assemblages of the years are particularly well conducted and the parcel cuvées reveal a very beautiful definition. Since 1996, Jérome Dehours has given life back to his beautiful 14 hectare estate in the Marne Valley in Champagne. Inspired by the great Anselme Selosse, Jérome started with organically - grown vineyards by way of expressing each of the magnificient terroirs he has at hand. The Domaine predominantly produces Pinot Meunier, a varietal best suited to this cooler aera of Champagne, but also Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
