Tasting Notes:

• Nose:An intense and complex bouquet of ripe blackberries, black cherries, and plums, with notes of violet, garrigue herbs, black pepper, and subtle hints of licorice and cocoa from well-integrated oak aging.
• Palate:Full-bodied and elegant, with silky tannins and remarkable freshness. Layers of dark fruit, spices, and a touch of graphite unfold with finesse, leading to a long, persistent finish with mineral and savory undertones. A wine of depth, balance, and sophistication.

Estate & Vineyard:
Domaine de Montcalmès is a benchmark estate in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, located in the Languedoc region. The vineyards, planted on limestone and clay soils, are farmed with respect for nature and the environment, allowing the unique terroir to shine through in each vintage.

Winemaking:
Hand-harvested grapes are carefully sorted and destemmed. Traditional vinification with long maceration in temperature-controlled vats. The wine is then aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (20% new oak) to develop complexity, structure, and finesse.

Blend:
60% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre.
